FactSet Research Sees 4Q Earnings Above Street

NORWALK, Conn. (AP) — FactSet Research Systems Inc., which provides financial research and analytics, on Tuesday projected fiscal fourth-quarter earnings above Wall Street estimates.

FactSet said it expects to earn between 73 cents 75 cents per share on between $152 million and $157 million in revenue for the quarter ending in August.

Analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters expect profit of 72 cents per share on $155.5 million in revenue during the quarter, on average.

FactSet on Tuesday posted an 18 percent increase in fiscal third-quarter earnings on better margins and higher revenue.

In premarket activity, shares of FactSet climbed $2.58, or 5.1 percent, to $53.50. The stock has ranged from $31.15 to $67.96 over the past year.
