Retired Boeing Executive Named To Goodrich Board

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Goodrich Corp. on Tuesday said retired Boeing Co. executive Carolyn Corvi has been elected to its board of directors.

Corvi, 57, retired last year as vice president and general manager for Boeing's commercial airplanes business. She spent 34 years at Boeing, holding leadership positions in program management, quality assurance, propulsion systems and aircraft systems.

Charlotte, N.C.-based Goodrich is a supplier of systems and services to aerospace, defense and homeland security markets.

Shares of Goodrich rose 32 cents to $51.99 in morning trading.
