AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Chip maker Cirrus Logic Inc. said Monday it has nominated John Carter, founder of the consulting firm TCGen, and Tim Dehne, a former senior vice president at software maker National Instruments Corp., to join its board.
If approved, they would replace Suhas Patil and Walden Rhines, who are stepping down in July.
"John and Tim bring fresh perspectives to our board and I'm very excited to work with these guys," Cirrus Chief Executive Jason Rhode said in a statement.
The company's shares edged up 8 cents, or 2 percent, to $3.97 in afternoon trading, amid broader market gains.
