Weingarten Realty Investors Announces Tender Offer

HOUSTON (AP) Real estate investment trust Weingarten Realty Investors said Monday it has commenced two cash tender offers for up to $350 million of notes.

The any-and-all offer is expected to close on June 8, and the maximum tender offer will expire on June 26, unless extended.

JPMorgan Securities Inc. is serving as dealer and manager.

Shares of the real estate investment trust that specializes in shopping center and industrial developments rose $1.19, or 7.5 percent, to $17.07 in afternoon trading.
