Jacobs Engineering Spent $180K Lobbying In 1Q

WASHINGTON (AP) Engineering and construction company Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. spent $180,000 in the first quarter to lobby on immigration issues and federal spending on aerospace and railroads, according to a recent disclosure report.
The Pasadena, Calif.-based company lobbied Congress on the federal budget, aviation and airlines matters, the chemical industry, spending on energy and nuclear projects, and other issues, according to the report filed April 17 with the House clerk's office.
Jacobs Engineering also lobbied in the January-March period on environmental issues and expanding a visa program used for immigrants employed temporarily.
