Regal Entertainment CFO Miles To Become CEO

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Movie theater chain Regal Entertainment Group said Wednesday that Chief Financial Officer Amy Miles will take over as chief executive from Mike Campbell, who will stay on as executive chairman.

The move is effective June 30.

Miles, 42, will be succeeded in the CFO position by David Ownby, 39, who currently serves as senior vice president of finance and chief accounting officer.

Campbell, 55, is Regal Entertainment's founder.

Regal Entertainment runs 6,782 screens in 550 locations in 39 states and the District of Columbia.
