Final Glance: Durable Goods Companies

NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top durable goods companies were up at the close of trading:

Black & Decker rose $.32 or 1.0 percent, to $32.11.

Snap-On rose $.68 or 2.5 percent, to $28.38.

Stanley Works rose $.79 or 2.5 percent, to $32.21.

Whirlpool rose $.72 or 2.1 percent, to $35.58.
