The Wall Street opinion about whether the government should have given more financial aid to AIG (AIG Quote) is a resounding "No," according to an informal survey by TheStreet.com.
Here are the responses to our poll asking: Do you support the government's plan to give even more financial aid to AIG?
Yes. The company must be supported to keep the financial system from collapsing. (17.09%)
Yes. But the government needs to address the company's problems more quickly. (19.44%)
No. The company needs to sort out its issues without more funds. (16.11%)
No. Taxpayers have had enough of this. If it fails, it fails. (47.34%)
