Here's what Jim Cramer had to say about some of the stocks that callers offered up during the "Mad Money Lightning Round" Wednesday evening:
Allscripts Healthcare (MDRX): "This is the way to play Obama's healthcare plan. I'm going to re-recommend it right here. It's on of the best stocks in the book and it's got momentum."
Steel Dynamics (STLD): "If we want a steel company we're going to buy
Nucor (NUE), but only once that one comes down a bit."
Consolidated Edison (ED): "I want you to buy more. I think that ED is a buy."
Walt Disney (DIS): "I want you to double down. I'm a believer in Bob Iger. Gas is coming down and they should be doing well. "
Sony (SNE): "I think the CEO is great but I cannot recommend the stock. I don't think people are buying a lot of gadgets. No way, no how."
Las Vegas Sands (LVS): "No, they just did that big secondary offering and I don't think the casinos are going to do well here."
Chesapeake Energy (CHK): "This is not my favorite. This is a balance sheet-strapped company. I like
Anadarko Petroleum (APC)."
Visa (V): "I prefer
Mastercard (MA) but be careful -- hedge funds will be beating that down, too. Let's stay away from both."
Alcoa (AA): "Don't pull the trigger. I don't see anything to like about Alcoa."
