Health stocks dipped back down Friday, in line with the broader markets, with the Nasdaq and Amex biotechnology indices losing 2.2% and 3.5%, respectively.

Among individual stocks, notable movers were:

Alpharma(ALO Quote), up 8.8% at $33.18

Alkermes(ALKS Quote), up 5.5% at $8.05

MedCath(MDTH Quote), down 46% at $7.90

Synta Pharmaceuticals(SNTA Quote), down 15.5% at $4.80

Senomyx(SNMX Quote), down 13.3% at $3.32

Pharmaxis(PXSL Quote), down 13% at $13.30

Amylin (AMLN Quote), down 8% at $6.68
