CHANGE IN RATINGS

AMR (AMR Quote) downgraded at Citigroup to Sell, with a $9 price target. Despite lower fuel costs, the stock has more than doubled since July 15, and trades at a premium to its European peers.

STOCK COMMENTS / EPS CHANGES

Goldman Sachs (GS Quote) estimates cut at Morgan Stanley through 2010. Third-quarter numbers cut by 45%, to reflect continued deterioration in the equity and fixed income markets. Overweight rating and $205 price target.

J Crew (JCG Quote) target cut at Credit Suisse to $40 from $50 following weak second-quarter results and guidance. Maintained Outperform rating.
