It's earnings season, which means the market is very much on its heels. It's safe to say that people are feeling a bit skittish ahead of all the soon-to-be announced first-quarter numbers. There will undoubtedly be good news and bad news on a number of different companies.

But whether it's earnings or some other news item, it's important to try to get the global picture on how these news items will affect all the different stocks and/or sectors in which they operate.

With this in mind, we thought it made sense to take the Top 10 Most Searched Stocks on TheStreet.com from the prior trading day and find out Jim Cramer's take on these stocks. These stocks could be in the news for a number of reasons, including earnings. Some require immediate attention while others may not.

But it never hurts to hear what Cramer (or any of the other professional investors on the site) has to say about them. The key is to gather as much information as you can in order to make the most informed investment decisions you can.

Despite Wachovia (WB Quote - Cramer on WB - Stock Picks), Delta (DAL Quote - Cramer on DAL - Stock Picks) and Northwest (NWA Quote - Cramer on NWA - Stock Picks) headlining the news yesterday, we'll kick it off with Canadian Natural Resources (CNQ Quote - Cramer on CNQ - Stock Picks).

On a Friday's "Mad Money" show, Cramer recommended Canadian Natural, the second largest oil and natural gas producer in Canada. He believes that CNQ's stock has been penalized as a result of cost overruns and delays at the company's Horizon oil shale project. When this project finally gets fully operational, however, it has the capacity to produce up to 110,000 barrels of oil a day. "This is huge," Cramer says.

Cramer believes investors are missing the bigger picture and huge opportunity due to the flurry of negative media reports about this project. The company's current oil production is only 609,000 barrels of oil a day, but it's estimated to have up to 3.6 billion cubic feet of potential reserves.

Cramer said he thinks Canadian Natural Resources has the potential to become the next Apache (APA Quote - Cramer on APA - Stock Picks) or Anadarko Petroleum (APC Quote - Cramer on APC - Stock Picks). Cramer feels Canadian Natural stock should trade at a premium to its peers once the horizon project comes online in the third quarter.

Canadian Natural Resources is definitely a stock that deserves some attention.

Another popular stock Tuesday was Boeing (BA Quote - Cramer on BA - Stock Picks). The aerospace giant has been in the news lately for a variety of reasons but most notably for announcing another expected delay for its new Dreamliner 787. The company did note that it expects no change to 2008 earnings as a result.

Cramer's most recent stance on Boeing came during Friday's Mad Money Lightning Round segment: "Oh come on, if that one ever goes back to $75, I want you in it. I don't think Airbus is doing any better than they are."
