- I'm 18 years old and will be leaving for two years in May. I'm looking to put my assets into the correct long-term plays, with about 10% being divided between Citigroup (C) and Wachovia (WB). ... I'm sensing long-term bottoms in both stocks, so I've opened small positions recently. Do you agree that now is a good time to get 50%-plus of the position in?

- I a 55-year-old without a lot of investment time left. Should I be transferring my 401(k) balances from funds currently getting slaughtered (typical growth or equity) into short-term government bonds or money market funds for a while until the market calms down?
I really need to protect my balances.
