More Gains for Treasuries

Treasury prices were again higher Tuesday, led by another rally in the 30-year bond.

The 10-year note was recently up 8/32 in price to 100 26/32, yielding 4.52%, and the long bond was adding 15/32 to 101 10/32, yielding 4.67%. Yields and prices move in opposite directions.

Closer in, the two-year note was rising 3/32 to 100 10/32, yielding 4.58%, and the three-year was up 4/32 to 100 22/32, yielding 4.49%. The five-year was gaining 7/32 to 100 24/32, yielding 4.45%.

In the foreign exchange market, the U.S. dollar was weaker against the euro, the yen, the pound and the Swiss franc.
