Here's what Jim Cramer had to say about some of the stocks that callers offered up during the "Mad Money Lightning Round" Tuesday evening:
Alcatel-Lucent(ALU): "You have the guts to come on my Lightning Round and talk about Alcatel-Lucent? .... As long as that management team is in place, SellSellSell. ... It's the only stock that can make the Lightning Round feel like sitting on the linoleum floor sipping cheap scotch."
"
Arch Coal(ACI) is meandering. Right here at 30 ... I'm beginning to think that there isn't anything that can move the stock." But Cramer says to him that signals it's ready to break out. "It remains in bull mode. Triple Buy ... the coal companies are too darn cheap." Cramer also threw in
Peabody Energy(BTU)."
Universal Stainless(USAP): "I like it, but you know you [had] another chance to buy the
Allegheny(ATI) the other day. I like yours," but Cramer said he also liked
Reliant Steel(RS).
Manitowoc(MTW): "I'm going right back to
Terex(TEX). If you want industrial materials, Terex." Cramer said he's also been buying
Caterpillar(CAT) for his
Action Alerts PLUS charitable trust.
Consol Energy(CNX): "I'm going to refer you to the previous call and recommend both Arch Coal and BTU."
Cisco(CSCO): "Stop wondering, start buying. This is the best of show. It hugs 45. It didn't go lower during the nuclear selloff we had last Tuesday."
TiVo(TIVO): "See Alcatel-Lucent -- I'm banning that one too."
Sonus Networks(SONS): "You want voice infrastructure, I'm sending you to Cisco. Why not stick with the best?"
Amgen(AMGN): "I have been struggling over this Amgen. I know I recommended it at 66. ... Aranesp is in trouble. That's their anemia drug. I can't get any visibility. But at 14 times earnings ... I came away and said you know what, I think it's down enough that you have to at least put a little more in."
*For all you home-gamers, a 'mon-back opportunity means Cramer would back up the figurative truck and load up on a stock.
