Everest Re Doubles Quarterly Dividend

Property and casualty insurer Everest Re Group(RE ) announced a doubling of quarterly dividend.

The Bermuda-based company increased the regular quarterly dividend to 24 cents a share. The dividend will be payable on or before Dec. 15 to shareholders of record Nov. 27.

The shares of the company were up $1.35, or 1.33%, at $102.76 Thursday.
