Idacorp Sells Communications Unit

Idacorp(IDA Quote) agreed to sell its communications unit, Idacomm, to privately held American Fiber Systems.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

Idacomm, a metro network provider, has operations in Nevada and Idaho and specializes in fiber-based transport services.

The deal is expected to close as early as the end of the fourth quarter.
