Sizeler Property Investors (SIZ Quote) said its chairman, Mark M. Tanz, quit the board for personal reasons.

The New Orleans-based real estate investment trust named vice chairman William G. Byrnes chairman. The board said it does not intend to fill the board vacancy left by Tanz' resignation.
