Lionsgate Buys 'South Park' Distributor

Lionsgate (LGF ) acquired television distributor Debmar-Mercury, which owns distribution rights to Comedy Central's animated sitcom "South Park."

Lionsgate said Debmar also owns distribution rights to Lionsgate's one-hour drama thriller "The Dead Zone," the Sci-Fi Channel's "Farscape" series, produced by Hallmark Entertainment and the Jim Henson Company, and numerous other shows.
