Gibraltar Names Home Depot Team Chief

Gibraltar Industries (ROCK Quote) named Mike Daniels to the newly created role of vice president sales, Home Depot.

Daniels will move to Atlanta to be near Home Depot's (HD Quote) headquarters and act as Gibraltar's Home Depot account executive. Daniels will help orchestrate merchandising, marketing, service and products to meet the needs of Home Depot's customers.

Daniels will report to Henning Kornbrekke, president and chief operating officer. Daniels was director of sales for Air Vent, Dallas.

On Friday, Buffalo-based Gibraltar saw its shares drop a penny to $22.40.
