10/10/02 - 09:53 AM EDT
Jim Seymour, 60, our longtime friend and
RealMoney contributor, died Tuesday night after a brief illness. We're all saddened by this loss, and we know that many of you had a personal connection to Jim, too.
As part of our online memorial, planned for Friday morning, we would like to invite your contributions. If you have thoughts or memories of Jim that you would like to share, please email them to
seymourtribute@thestreet.com. We'll include them as part of our tribute.
This evening, visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. CT at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home in Austin, Texas, and a Recitation of the Rosary will follow. A funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, also in Austin.
Please join us Friday morning for our own online memorial. Our prayers are with his wife, Nora, and their son, Graham. If you wish to send the family a sympathy card, please mail it to Michelle Zangara, deputy managing editor for
RealMoney, at 14 Wall Street, 15th floor, New York, NY, 10005. She will take care of forwarding all personal correspondence to Jim's family.
