Where the heck are the profit-takers? I have to believe they would be willing to overwhelm the markup folks, especially this close to the end of the quarter when the once-nonexistent regulators might enforce laws again. Look at the stocks that are back on the case: Abbott Laboratories (ABT - commentary - Cramer's Take), Procter & Gamble (PG - commentary - Cramer's Take) and General Mills (GIS - commentary - Cramer's Take). Can you imagine if they ignite Pepsico (PEP - commentary - Cramer's Take) and Coca-Cola (KO - commentary - Cramer's Take)? Can you imagine if McDonald's (MCD - commentary - Cramer's Take) catches a big gain? The Genentech (DNA - commentary - Cramer's Take) money is flowing to Amgen (AMGN - commentary - Cramer's Take) and Gilead (GILD - commentary - Cramer's Take). Soon to be in Cephalon (CEPH - commentary - Cramer's Take)? More of a move in Genzyme (GENZ - commentary - Cramer's Take)? A turn in Celgene (CELG - commentary - Cramer's Take)? Housing's helping -- that great KB Homes (KBH - commentary - Cramer's Take) quarter shows a bottom, but it's more than that. It's a feeling that in the absence of industrial buying, we will pile into St. Jude Medical (STJ - commentary - Cramer's Take); Becton, Dickinson and Company (BDX - commentary - Cramer's Take); and Zimmer (ZMH - commentary - Cramer's Take). In the meantime, I believe oil will not go down a lot despite the amazing contraction in natural gas. Chevron (CVX - commentary - Cramer's Take) and BP (BP - commentary - Cramer's Take) just will not be able to stay down. How can the Nasdaq not be down big? Apple (AAPL - commentary - Cramer's Take) is barely touched. Google (GOOG - commentary - Cramer's Take) only down 2? The moment is positive. We just can't crush it!
