Doesn't matter. You will not hear a single one of these dollar/commodity linkers squawk about their precious thesis even though we are seeing, once again, that there is no relation and the issue with commodities is supply and demand. I was surprised that the oil futures came in as much as they did, but that's because we did not have further problems with producers and had a couple of good days with no terrorism- or weather-related production halts. That's not going to stay that way. I would suggest that people short the euro if they believe the dollar is going to get strong. But the de-linkage today -- not that they were every really linked -- shows you that people still do not understand that we don't have enough oil and that we need to drill more and find more and, well, we can't! Random musings: Sears (SHLD - commentary - Cramer's Take) moving on Eddie Lampert's comments? That's stupid. Nothing good to say there. ... MasterCard (MA - commentary - Cramer's Take) takes a breather as small lock-up expires. Wait three days and buy. ... I continue to believe that the best buy in this market is Altria (MO - commentary - Cramer's Take). ... This Bristol-Myers (BMY - commentary - Cramer's Take) acts too well.
