Ambac's (ABK - commentary - Cramer's Take) finished ... oops, maybe it isn't. So much for the Citigroup (C - commentary - Cramer's Take) and Merrill (MER - commentary - Cramer's Take) shorts that were based on a ABK collapse. J.C. Penney's (JCP - commentary - Cramer's Take) up too much, what a great short? No thanks, Carl Icahn. And Carl on Motorola (MOT - commentary - Cramer's Take), too! That was another good short. How about shorting coal off that Consol (CNX - commentary - Cramer's Take) quarter? But none of these worked. None. Even when the employment number was so weak that a recession is now baked in. And the pushing-on-a-string crowd is now using the string to hang themselves. I hope everyone stores this moment away, because we had such a horrid January and so many people got blown out. This is why you stay in the game. This right now. At the time of publication, Cramer was long Citigroup.
