Retest succeeded. GM (GM - commentary - Cramer's Take) says it is doing well. The drillers and the soft goods are providing some leadership. Health care is pitching in.
Shocker. Now a couple of other bull markets are kicking in: aerospace and defense, thanks to Boeing (BA - commentary - Cramer's Take) and Lockheed Martin (LMT - commentary - Cramer's Take). Enough to build a case? Enough to say that the market is performing as it always does when the economy is slowing down and we have a correction. The defense and defensives are rallying. And techs that recently reported good quarters-- like Marvell (MRVL - commentary - Cramer's Take) -- are moving on up. Soon the people who came on this morning and said they were no longer bullish or were tepid bulls will claim that they bought into the weakness. A bunch of people who said we hadn't bottomed will say that we have bottomed. The usual lies. And a lot of clowns got blown away selling into the opening. I am sure they felt relieved for all of the 10 minutes that they weren't lugging. Now, just seal the windows. At the time of publication, Cramer was long Marvell.
