It never came in. Not one day. That's what I think about when I look at New River Pharma (NRPH - commentary - Cramer's Take). The moment when the full potential for New River's ADHD treatment surfaced, it was all over. The stock just wouldn't quit.
But sometimes the market knows more than we think. Shire (SHPGY - commentary - Cramer's Take) needed this more than we ever believed. Maybe Bayer needs Onyx more than we think. I thought people should sell New River in the $50s, believing that some of this move had to be hype. I misread Shire's situation, not the New River situation. I didn't know Shire was desperate. Because Shire didn't wait for a pullback, you got known. You know what the takeaway is here? In some stages of the bull market, the corporations throw caution to the wind. Which is why this is such a hard market to resist... and you can't leave the table. At the time of publication, Cramer had no positions in any of the stocks mentioned.
