Commentary: TSC Technical Forum *New* Alerts! Please click here...
Boy, didn't you think that Russian wrestlin' bear would put a whuppin' on that Wyoming farm boy? (Of course, being that NBC hung in there and even televised it, should have tipped us off.) Have to admit, though, I shed just a little tear for Mulan Rulan and the Russian. Happy for the winner; sad for the loser. Which is kind of how I feel about this market: happy and sad ... all in the space of a few hours lately! Anyway, today I continue my long-term/short-term look at a few stocks many of us have. Today, a look at three prom queens: EMC (EMC:NYSE - news - boards), Nortel (NT:NYSE - news - boards) and JDS Uniphase (JDSU:Nasdaq - news - boards). And, of course, a look at that rascally Nasdaq.
Whew! Glad to get that week over with, aren't you? Gary B. Smith is a freelance writer who trades for his own account from his Maryland home using technical analysis.
