This is a real turnaround from hopelessness, and while it will be hard for the bears to believe that they might actually be on the receiving end of the pain, I have to believe that it can last for more than one day.

Tomorrow we get the bull/bear report, and I figure it will show an astounding decline in bulls; that makes me even more bullish short term than the oscillator makes me.

You have to understand that the bulls have the ability to have things go their way if they could get a day where there is no info, and the day before a holiday is a likely day for no news.

I am seeing some interesting behavior in certain stocks that tells me we may have a couple of days' respite. Let me detail them:

1. The infrastructure stocks have been really doggy, and now they are putting on a bit of a show -- Fluor (FLR - commentary - Cramer's Take) is leading the way.

2. Toll Bothers (TOL - commentary - Cramer's Take) is up. I know that doesn't matter much, but if we could get a tiering where people dislike Lennar (LEN - commentary - Cramer's Take) and like Ryland (RYL - commentary - Cramer's Take), Toll and KB Home (KBH - commentary - Cramer's Take) -- which makes sense -- and keeps taking up Standard Pacific (SPF - commentary - Cramer's Take) now that it has its financing, then you have a potential HGX trade.

3. We have now slaughtered ag and steel, which had held up well. That's what happens before we recharge.

4. Stocks I don't care for but have become inexpensive, Pepsi (PEP - commentary - Cramer's Take) and Procter (PG - commentary - Cramer's Take), are holding up and rallying.
