Corning (GLW - commentary - Cramer's Take) and Microchip (MCHP - commentary - Cramer's Take) just got a boost off this Best Buy (BBY - commentary - Cramer's Take) earnings conference call: At last, the inventories for big-screen televisions are just right going into the holiday shopping season.
Not anymore. Now we're beginning to understand why tech acts a little better: Nokia (NOK - commentary - Cramer's Take) last night said things are good at the high-end, big-screen televisions are in decent but not over supply, and PC-TV merger/convergence is spurring sales of just about everything, including Cisco (CSCO - commentary - Cramer's Take), which is now the player in cable television. Hmm. The rally makes sense! At the time of publication, Cramer had no positions in the stocks mentioned.
