It's been a tough business to invest in. The endlessly advertising Vestas -- big double truck spread on A12 and A13 in today's Journal -- has been inconsistent. Zoltek (ZOLT - commentary - Cramer's Take), a maker of the heavy duty carbon fibers needed for wind mills, has accounting problems as of yesterday. I think it may be BWEN's time. We are still early in wind, although not as early as that big field of wind towers between LA and Palm Springs that always seemed like a giant bust, and we know wind doesn't work in many places. Buffett made that point yesterday. But this BWEN may be the ticket in a supply-constrained industry. A new speculative play that's worth owning for certain investors. Random musings: I think NYSE Euronext (NYX - commentary - Cramer's Take) finally has it down and even though April volumes were bad the cost cutting will make the difference, especially now that it is starting in Europe... Sorry, I don't believe the Bank of America (BAC - commentary - Cramer's Take)-Countrywide (CFC - commentary - Cramer's Take) deal is dead, because if it were going to be dead it would be dead already.
