TSC Staff

CDW (CDWC - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr) agreed to acquire privately held Berbee Information Networks, an IT services provider, for around $175 million.

The acquisition should add 5 cents to CDW's earnings in 2007. CDW expects to close the purchase by the end of October.

For the 12 months ended July 31, Berbee's revenue was $390 million, and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization were $22 million.

CDW, a seller of technology products and services to businesses, governments and educational institutions, was losing 1 cent to $62.99.
