NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Stocks were stuck in the red Friday as fears of a disorderly Greek default and signs of global economic slowdown dinged sentiment.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average was dropping 140 points, or 1.1%, at 12,751. The S&P 500 was sliding 13 points, or 1%, at 1340, on track to snap a five-week rally, and the Nasdaq was behind by 26 points, or 0.9%, at 2901. Basic materials, energy and consumer cyclical stocks were among the biggest sector losers of the day.
