Due to an editing error, an Aug. 23 column, You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling, incorrectly identified Foundry (FDRY:Nasdaq) as a B2B company. It is a maker of high performance networking products, including Internet routers. (corrected Aug. 25)
An Aug. 23 column, The Last Train to Dullsville? Don't Be So Sure, misused the options term "strangle" to mean the opposite side of a "straddle." In fact, the correct term for such a position is "short straddle." The story also said Aug. 22 was the lightest-volume day since July 3, which it wasn't. (corrected Aug. 23)
An Aug. 22 story, MP3.com Rally Ignores Glum Outlook on Universal Suit, misstated the name of the president and chief operating officer of MP3.com (MPPP:Nasdaq). He is Robin Richards, not Robin Roberts. (corrected Aug. 23)
An Aug. 8 story, AIM Blue Chip Plans 3-for-1 Share Split, incorrectly reported a 2-for-1 share split for the AIM Blue Chip fund (ABCAX). In fact, shares split 3 for 1. (corrected Aug. 22)
An Aug. 22 column, It's Tea-Leaf Time, mistakenly said Wal-Mart's (WMT:NYSE) weekly sales results helped to keep pressure on the Russell 2000 index. In fact, the index pressured by those numbers was the S&P Retail Index. (corrected Aug. 22)>To order reprints of this article, click here: Reprints
