Stocks Under $10 With David Peltier
Taking Some Profits
We are selling 150 of our 500 shares in TradeStation (TRAD:Nasdaq). The stock has become the model portfolio's largest holding largely through price appreciation, and we want to book double-digit percentage gains this morning and rebalance our model portfolio holdings a bit with the shares recently trading at $13.89.We believe TradeStation's unique trading platform that enables sophisticated individual investors and small institutions to trade online without sacrificing execution separates the company from its peers. However, we are also aware that gains are hard to come by in this volatile stock market environment, and we believe some profit- taking here is prudent.
