Citi Walking From Wachovia, Suing Wells

Citigroup said late Thursday that it was breaking off negotiations and proceeding with a lawsuit against Wachovia and Wells Fargo, which agreed to a deal last week, trumping an earlier deal between Wachovia and Citi.
