Windows 8 Is Coming To NYC
Microsoft Wants Us To Save The Date For The Big Intro

What we were sure of was that Microsoft is about to release Windows 8.
And, that (via the rumor mill) that was supposedly happening at the end of October. Just before Halloween.
And, if Microsoft decides to do anything like they did with the gigantic Windows 7 release a few years back they would probably schedule their big event for New York (along with other, similar events around the world).
So, now we know.
Microsoft has sent out a warning.
They want us save the date. For a big shindig in New York City on Thursday, October 25th .
