We were all pretty sure it was on the way – but weren't sure what they'd be calling it.
We're talking about the terrific new HTC One series Android phones and the fact the Verizon hadn't announced their version – yet.
This morning, at the CTIA industry show in New Orleans, Verizon and HTC announced the upcoming Droid Incredible smartphone. This model is based on what HTC calls their One-V design.
This version has a 4-inch, qHD, Super LCD screen, a dual-core, 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and runs on Verizon's speedy 4G/LTE data network.
Otherwise it shares all the features from the rest of the One line including Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), the great 8MP on the back (only VGA on the front), 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage, Beats Audio and lots more.
Verizon hasn't announced a price or release date as of yet - only saying that the new Droid Incredible will be available “in the coming weeks".
