FTC Will Announce New Online Privacy Framework

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission has announced that they are planning to release a series of guidelines meant to protect consumers when they're online.
In its preliminary report, issued back in December, 2010, the FTC hinted at new rules that would “balance the private interests of consumers with innovation that relies on consumer information to develop beneficial new products and services.”

NBC, YouTube To Partner For London Olympics

Comcast's NBC Sports Group has announced a deal that makes Google's YouTube the official video-on-demand provider for the upcoming 2012 Summer Olympics.
With this agreement, NBC will be the the “exclusive online destination” for all in-venue video.
For the first time, NBCOlympics.com is planning to stream all of this year's Olympics events live on the Internet.
