Popular Music Streaming Service? There's An App For That

Spotify's streaming music services and Amazon's affordable Android tablet.

What could be bad?

Amazon has announced that there's now a Spotify app for their super-popular, $199 Kindle Fire tablet.

For those who don't remember, Spotify is the super-popular music streaming service from Sweden. A worldwide sensation.

Spotify allows you to listen to songs and albums as well as “radio stations” (themed streams. It's available for free via an app (Windows,, OS X, Android and iOS - now ready for version 6) or Facebook.

For $5/month you lose the ads (one in between every few songs) and for $10 per month you get higher quality streams (that means 320k).

The new Android app for the Kindle Fire is available now from Amazon.com.
