Remembering Space Shuttle Flights. All At Once

Fascinating Video Chronicles 135 Missions Simultaneously

They began back in 1981 with STS-1. And ended with STS-135 last year.

 

In between, success and sorrows. All of it now remembered - at the same time - in an amazing, award-winning video.

 

Thanks to McLean Fahrenstock, we get to re-live each and every Space Shuttle launch – including the tragic Challenger in-flight “break-up” (1986, frame 25) to the explosion and loss Columbia (STS-103) in 2003.

 

Luckily, the majority of shuttle flights went smoothly. Making for a poignant, engaging video.

 

It's all there. And it takes less than four minutes to remember.
