HTC's WP8 Flagship Revealed?
Could Be The Subject Of A Press Conference Sept. 19th
By Gary Krakow
We know what Nokia will release. Two new Windows 8 phones. The Lumia 920 and 820. We don't know when tho. Or with which carrier(s). Or how much they'll cost.
There are a lot of rumors flying, though. Make-up anything you like. It might be true.
On the other hand, we also now know that HTC has some Windows 8 smartphone plans too.
They're calling their new WP8 flagship device the Accord (codenamed the 8X).
According to TMONews and The Verge it will have a dual-core, 1.2GHz processor, 4.3-inch, HD touchscreen, 8 megapixel camera and a microSD card expansion slot.
It could be reaching T-Mobile in early-to-mid November. Or, maybe not.
It could look like the design pictured above (although running Windows 8 not Windows 7). Again, maybe not.
We'll hopefully be able to fill-in the blanks after HTC's event for the press, here in New York, on September 19th.
