Barnes & Noble Announces Lower-Priced Nook Tablet
New, 8GB Model Will Compete With Amazon's Kindle Fire

As we speculated previously, Barnes & Noble has announced an 8GB version of their popular Nook Tablet which will sell for $199.
That matches the price (and internal storage) of Amazon's successful Kindle Fire tablet.
The new Nook will still come with the same dual-core, 1GHz processor, great 7-inch screen and terrific battery life as its beefier brother.
In addition, B&N has also announced that they've lowered the price of their popular Nook Color tablet down to $169.
The new 8GB Nook Tablet goes on sale today online and at B&N retail stores. It will also be available at retailers Best Buy, Target and Walmart “in the coming weeks”.
