It's now official.
Apple has just emailed invitations to journalists for an event in San Francisco on Wednesday, March 7th. Their missive says: "We have something you really have to see. And touch."
According to previouds rumors, Apple's next generation iOS tablet was going to be introduced in New York City.
CNBC reported, this morning, that the next version will be called the iPad 3 and should have either a dual-core or possibly quad-core processor, a super high-definition display and could come with 4G/LTE data connectivity (via Verizon and/or AT&T).
Other guesses of introduction dates had ranged from mid-March to April.
Now, we know better.
