Before joining
TheStreet.com in August 2001, Sean Driscoll worked for
CNBC.com for two years, most recently as Lead Designer, designing not only for
CNBC and
General Electric, but for partners
Microsoft and
National Geographic as well. Earlier, Driscoll worked for
NY Interactive as Graphic Designer/Web Page Developer. Prior to that, Driscoll spent two years at
NBC.com in the position of Technology Assistant.
In the best tradition of "new media", he has toiled as a freelance Designer/Technology Consultant since 1997, completing many projects under ridiculous conditions.
Driscoll received a bachelor's degree, and master's degree in Music Composition from University of California at Santa Barbara and spent two years at the Berklee College of Music studying jazz guitar. He has studied design at both the New School and the School of Visual Arts. He is also an active jazz guitarist in New York City.
