Thomas Kurlak

Before retiring in December, 2000, Tom Kurlak was head of technology stock research and manager of the technology hedge fund at Tiger Management. During his two years with Tiger, Kurlak's hedge fund substantially outperformed the S&P 500.

Prior to his association with Tiger, Kurlak spent 20 years as the senior semiconductor industry analyst for Merrill Lynch where he was named annually to the Institutional Investor Magazine All American Research Team from 1980 to 1999.

Kurlak received a master's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan, is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the New York Electronics Analyst Group.
