In France, she taught economics for a year at the university of Université Paris XII Creteil in Paris. Trincal received a bachelor's degree in political science from Institut d'Etudes Politiques (Political Science Institute) in Paris and a master's degree in economics from Université Paris I-Pantheon Sorbonne in Paris, France.
