Goodman joined TheStreet.com in May 2003, after spending four years on the spot news desk of Dow Jones Newswires, most recently as a copy editor. Before that, he was a freelance and full-time reporter at several publications in Connecticut, including the Hartford Business Journal and the Darien News-Review.

He is a graduate of the University of Iowa and Drake University Law School.
