Take-Two Warns on Game Delay
The financial impact of Manhunt 2's woes should not come as a surprise to company watchers. Manhunt 2 has been denied a certification by British certification authorities. Take-Two has appealed the decision.
The game has also bagged an "Adults Only" rating in the U.S. effectively limiting its presence on retail shelves. The bigger blow Take-Two is the delay in the release of Grand Theft Auto IV. Take-Two had planned to launch the game for Sony's(SNE Quote) PlayStation 3 systems and Microsoft's Xbox 360 in October. Now "due to additional development time required to complete the title," the game has been pushed to next year, said Take-Two.- Loading Comments...
