Shares of Diana Shipping(DSX Quote - Cramer on DSX - Stock Picks) fell 5% after the company completed a follow-on offering of 5 million shares at $13.50 a share. The offering represented a 4% discount to Tuesday's closing price of $14.08. The shipping transportation company also granted underwriters a 30-day option to purchase an additional 750,000 shares to cover over-allotments. Shares were trading down 77 cents to $13.31.

Lufkin Industries(LUFK Quote - Cramer on LUFK - Stock Picks) rose 8% after Standard & Poor's said it plans to add the provider of oil-field pumping units to its S&P 600 index after the close of trading Dec. 13. Lufkin will replace Spinnaker Exploration(SKE Quote - Cramer on SKE - Stock Picks), which is being acquired by Norway-based Norsk Hydro(NHY Quote - Cramer on NHY - Stock Picks). Shares of Lufkin recently gained $3.99 to $52.47.

Navigant Consulting (NCI Quote - Cramer on NCI - Stock Picks) also got a boost from an S&P move. The consulting company will replace York International (YRK Quote - Cramer on YRK - Stock Picks) in the S&P MidCap 400 following the close of trading Friday. York is being acquired by Johnson Controls(JCI Quote - Cramer on JCI - Stock Picks). Navigant shares rose 8%, or $1.73, to $22.54.
