Jim, is it time to get back into Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (KKD Quote)? -- Mom from Florida James J. Cramer: I am still not recommending Krispy Kreme because there is just too much trouble at this company. Krispy Kreme managed to invent one of the greatest snacks in history, but it couldn't execute on the business side of things.
Is Microsoft (MSFT Quote) a good long-term investment? -- Terry from North Carolina James J. Cramer: I believe Microsoft, which I own for my charitable trust, ActionAlertsPLUS, is actually a very good long-term investment. The company is still the leader in software and is doing a good job of moving into hot growth areas like video games. However, investors should not just buy Microsoft and forget about it. They must still do regular homework on the stock to determine whether it is worth keeping as time goes on and business conditions change.
